The "PILLAR BOX MAHEBOURG" c.d.s. is the rarest of Mauritian postmarks, (Ibbotson) records only a single known example. A second example turned up in 2010 at the Grosvenor auction of The John Forrest Collection of Cancellations of the British Empire, and was sold for £250.
